About NTS
NTS provides testing services throughout Pakistan, where several private entities and a few government organizations are under contract with NTS Jobs (National Testing Service), relieving them of the burden, particularly educational institutions.
Since 2006, they have matured significantly. NTS was on the verge of collapsing in 2014 when they were subjected to intense pressure from candidates and the high court, which returned a guilty verdict declaring that it was an unapproved body, but at the time it was approved by the HEC (Higher Education Commission). Now it’s unclear whether NTS is a rule-follower or merely a contractor.
