Who Qualifies for EB-2?

**Advanced Degree Professionals**

The Application Process

1. **PERM Labor Certification** (unless NIW):

- Employer conducts recruitment to test the US labor market

- Files ETA Form 9089 with DOL

- Processing: 6-12 months

2. **I-140 Petition**:

- Employer files Form I-140 with USCIS

- Premium processing available

- Processing: 6-12 months (regular), 15 business days (premium)

3. **I-485 Adjustment of Status**:

- File when priority date is current

- Includes biometrics, medical examination, and interview

- Processing: 8-24 months

4. **Green Card Approval**:

- Receive physical Green Card in the mail
